Five doctors of DHQ Ziarat suspended because of absence from duty

QUETTA: Five doctors of District Headquarter Hospital Ziarat were suspended owing to absence from their duties for long.
According to an official hand out issued here on Monday, the services of five doctors were placed under suspension due to their continuous absence from duty in the DHQ Ziarat.
Actually, the Provincial Minister for Food, Noor Muhammad Dummar had complained to the Chief Minister Balochistan about absence of the doctors from their duties during visit to the DHQ Ziarat.
During the surprise visit, the Provincial Minister checked the attendance register of the doctors and medical staff and found these doctors absent from duty.
It was informed by the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Ziarat that doctors have been absent from duties for long.
On this, the Minister Food contacted the Chief Minister and complained him about absence of the doctors from duty.
Later, on directives of the Chief Minister, the absentee doctors were suspended.
Meanwhile, while speaking on occasion of the visit to DHQ Ziarat, the Provincial Minister Food said that the government would not make any compromise on absence of the doctors and other officials from their duties at all.
He said that government is taking steps for provision of healthcare facilities to the people at their doorstep.
