Pakistan put on wrong policies; democracy and prosperity seen nowhere in country, says Maulana Fazalur Rehman
JUI Chief urges politicians to give up fight for power; announces not to let “present bogus government” in power; would extend Jamiat’s movement to whole country from Balochistan

QUETTA: The central Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Maulana Fazalur Rehman has stated that Pakistan has been put on the wrong policies and path by rulers.
The country had been acquired for democracy but there seems no democracy in it, and so the prosperity.
He alleged that Establishment is responsible for all the issues being confronted by the country for last 75 years.
He said that on one hand, United States speaks of democracy in the world, but on the other hand, it (US) supports dictatorship in our country.
These and similar other views were expressed by the JUI Chief while the “first Awami Assembly “ held under the auspices of JUI at the spacious Taj Lala Sports complex in Pishin on Saturday.
It may be mentioned here that it was the first address of the JUI Chief in any public meeting after his election as Member National Assembly from Pishin.
He could also not come in Pishin for his election campaign even.
Addressing the public gathering which he called Awami Assembly, Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that since it is the Awami Assembly, so the person presiding it (Assembly) would be called as Janab-e-Speaker (Mr. Speaker).
He announced that the people would hold their assembly directly.
Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that he had not come in Pishin for long, and so, he couldn’t visit there during the general elections too.
He thanked the people of Pishin on reposting trust on him in elections even in his absence.
The JUI Chief said that we had run the protest movement against rigging in the elections of 2018 for four years with support of people, and thus made successes in it.
But, more shameful rigging was done in 2024 elections, adding he alleged. On this, we totally reject the February 2024 elections, he declared.
Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that we had told wrong what was wrong in the past, and even termed it wrong what’s wrong today.
He said that the JUI workers would never tire of saying wrong what’s wrong.
He asked the JUI workers not to down the flag of Nabawai (SAW) even their hands are cut.
The JUI Chief asserted that the Jamiat’s movement would extend to the whole country from the land of Balochistan.
He also asserted that we would not let the bogus government in power.
He said that rulers should tell as in how much they have purchased the Balochistan assembly? Whether they have purchased the assembly in 70 billion or 80 billions? he asked.
This may also be told that in how much they have purchased the assemblies of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhaw?, Maulana Fazalur Rehman maintained.
The JUI Chief on an occasion said that there’s no role of Army in founding the country.
Rather masses and Madaris have rendered sacrifices for the country, he added.
He said that we have always done serious politics, but if anyone would ruin the constitution and democracy, then we would counter it.
He said that our forefathers have given the lesson of courage and bravery. He asked the politicians that it is not our internal dispute and Establishment created differences among them.
He asked the politicians to give up fight for power.
The senior leaders of JUI including Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Hafiz Hamdullah, Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi, Malik Sikandar Advocate and others also addressed the public gathering,
A large number of JUI workers from Pishin and other areas participated in the public gathering.
