FIA Immigration has operationalized a Second Line Border Control Office at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. This was achieved with the support of ICMPD project funded by Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The FIA has been provided with state-of-the-art forensic and IT equipment to curb irregular migration. Director Lahore Zone, Mr. Sarfraz Virk, was briefed on the usage of this advanced equipment and its effectiveness in enhancing the FIA’s capability to detect fake and forged travel documents.
