LAHORE, PAKISTAN – AUGUST 9, 2024_
Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Ahmad Ishaq Jehangir, PSP, PPM, conducted a comprehensive visit to the Lahore Zone, where he chaired a high-level meeting to assess the agency’s ongoing operations and performance.
The meeting, attended by Directors from Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Multan zones via video link, focused on critical investigations, including actions against overbilling, the PASCO scandal, money laundering, and the arrest of most wanted human traffickers and terrorists.
A detailed performance report highlighting progress on key cases was presented to the DG FIA, who expressed satisfaction with the current performance of the zones. He emphasized the need to intensify efforts against human trafficking, corruption, money laundering, spurious drug manufacturing, and overbilling.
DG FIA reiterated the agency’s commitment to mobilizing all available resources to ensure the arrest of criminals and reaffirmed FIA’s dedication to combating these crimes.According to details
