Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam administered the oath to the newly elected cabinet of the Lahore Bar Council in Swabi . Addressing the ceremony, he said that the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif prioritizes respecting and honoring the bar councils and the legal community. He announced a special grant of Rs 15 lakh for the Swabi Bar Council. He emphasized the importance of the rule of law in the country and said that his party prioritizes the dignity of the bench and the bar. He expressed concern over the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that those who have been given the mandate are making a mockery of the province. He criticized the provincial government’s budget, calling it a violation of the Constitution, the spirit of the Federation of Pakistan, and established procedures.
