Federal Minister Amir Muqam Slams PTI’s ‘Anti-Pakistan Agenda

Islamabad, Oct. 07 (Independent Report)

Federal Minister for Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Safron, and President of Pakistan Muslim League-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, lambasted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for its alleged anti-Pakistan activities during a press conference.

Federal Minister accused PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur of defaming Pakhtuns by abandoning supporters during protests. “This is not the tradition of Pakhtuns to leave their companions and run away,” Muqam stated.

Muqam alleged that PTI misused Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s resources to create unrest and chaos against the federation. “We will not allow this,” he emphasized.

Amir Muqam condemned the recent Karachi terrorism incident, expressing sorrow over the loss of lives, including two Chinese nationals.

Muqam demanded accountability from PTI leaders, particularly KP Chief Minister, for their handling of protests. “The Chief Minister should apologize for hiding and running away.”

Muqam criticized the KP government’s performance, citing issues like corruption, lack of development projects, and poor law and order.

Further he warned that Pakistan would not tolerate any anti-Pakistan activities. “We stand with our security agencies and will not let anyone succeed in their nefarious designs.”

Muqam urged PTI leaders to focus on governance and development instead of promoting unrest.
