Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal’s Message on Kashmir Black Day

Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal, has issued a statement on Kashmir Black Day, commemorating the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India on October 27, 1947.
Today marks the darkest day in the history of occupied Kashmir, when India illegally occupied the region,” Minister Iqbal said. “The decades-long oppression and violence inflicted upon the Kashmiri people is unbearable.”
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the Kashmiris’ fundamental right to freedom, emphasizing that Pakistan stands with them in their struggle.
Minister Iqbal criticized India for violating United Nations resolutions and denying Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

“We will continue to provide moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people,” he pledged. “We appeal to the international community to play its role in ensuring peace and security in the region.”
