Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal’s Address on Independence Day

(Independent Report)
Islamabad. Aug. 13.Independence Day is a day of joy and unity for any nation. Today reminds us of our immortal sacrifices. When Quaid-e-Azam dreamed of Pakistan on March 23, 1940, no one believed it. No one thought that people with limited resources would establish a new state in India.

The nation gathered on the platform of Muslim League and waged an immortal struggle. The establishment of Pakistan was a victory of ideology. Quaid-e-Azam did not establish Pakistan to be included in the list of poor countries. This country has achieved in a short span what is unparalleled.

I salute those leaders who made this country successful within the first decade. Today, this country is the world’s seventh-largest nuclear power. The country that couldn’t even manufacture bicycle parts is now manufacturing JF-17 and dominating the skies.

The country that had no communication system now has modern fiber optic infrastructure.
