June : Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi offered Eid al-Adha prayers in Lahore and exchanged Eid greetings with his loved ones. The Federal Interior Minister prayed for the country’s progress, stability, security, and welfare of the masses. He also prayed for the oppressed Muslims of Indian occupied Kashmir and Palestine. While performing the Sunnah of Prohet Ibrahim, he highlighted the need to follow the teachings of sacrifice and selflessness.

Interior Minister said that on Eid al-Adha, we stand in solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters who are victims of Israeli brutalities. He added that the international community must take immediate action to stop the atrocities against the Muslims in occupied Kashmir and Palestine. He stressed that on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, we must take special care of our deserving brothers and sisters and must also remember the sacrifices of our national heroes who laid their lives for the security and progress our beloved country.
The Federal Interior Minister emphasized that Eid al-Adha teaches us to prioritize sacrifice and unity in our daily lives. He said that everyone should renounce selfish interest and ego, furthermore set aside political, parochial and linguistic differences for the sake of the country’s prosperity. He stated that we all must repay the outstanding debt of the beloved motherland. He added that this eebt can only be repaid by making personal sacrifice for the country. Every individual, party, institution, department, and class must play a constructive and positive role in the country’s development, he concluded.
