Federal Cabinet Approves Changes in Jurisdiction of Special Courts in Quetta and Khuzdar

Islamabad, December 2, : The Federal Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, has approved changes in the jurisdiction of Special Courts (Customs, Taxation, and Anti-Smuggling) in Quetta and Khuzdar.

The cabinet meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad, also approved a review petition against the Supreme Court’s decision to lift the ban on the import of monosodium glutamate (MSG). The decision was made in light of a report by a special committee of experts, constituted on the directives of the Prime Minister’s Office, to examine the effects of MSG on human health. The committee’s report declared MSG safe for human consumption.¹
