ISLAMABAD, Oct 16, 2024: The Express Highway, temporarily closed due to the arrival and departure of foreign dignitaries for the SCO conference, has been reopened for two-way traffic.

The Srinagar Highway has also been fully opened. However, expect intermittent traffic closures until the evening of October 17 due to the departure of foreign guests. Avoid non-essential travel on Srinagar Highway during this time.

Residents are advised to use Margalla Road for entry into the Red Zone, avoiding unnecessary travel through this route.
