The Excise and Taxation Department Gilgit-Baltistan has launched a daily inspection drive across all districts to ensure public transport vehicles, particularly those traveling to Rawalpindi and Islamabad, meet strict safety and regulatory standards. 1. Physical Fitness Certificate (VICS)

5. Vehicle documents
Consequences of Non-ComplianceVehicles without required documents or fitness certificates will be:

1. Denied departure from Gilgit-Baltistan
2. Impounded at Excise and Taxation warehouses
3. Subject to legal action

Secretary Excise and Taxation Rahman Shah has directed all divisional Deputy Directors and district officers to strictly enforce these regulations.
