Ex-Provincial Minister Mobin Khilji part ways with PTI, joins BAP

QUETTA: The former Provincial Minister and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Mobin Khilji parted ways with the party (PTI) and joined Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) here on Thursday.
The PTI leader Mobin Khilji announced to join BAP during a joining ceremony arranged by the BAP here on Thursday.
Prominent among those present at the joining ceremony were the Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, President of BAP, Nawabzada Khalid Khan Magsi, secretary General Senator Manzoor Ahmed Khan Kakar, provincial President, Sardar Muhammad Saleh Bhotani and other leaders of the party.
The BAP’s leadership welcomed Mobin Khilji in the party and hoped that it would strengthen with his joining.
Addressing the ceremony, Nawabzada Khalid Magsi welcoming Mobin Khilji in the party announced to appoint him as provincial Secretary General of the party.
The Secretary General of BAP Manzoor Kakar said that former Minister and PTI leader Mobin Khilji joined BAP after reposing confidence in the party leadership.
He said that BAP has served people of the province a lot. He said that he is grieved over those who left the party as it had given them the name.
However, Kakar announced, the party would take wholehearted part in the general elections and contest the same from all constituencies.
Similarly, the BAP’s leader Sardar Saleh Bhotani also welcomed the former Provincial Minister of PTI and said that it is a good omen that Mobin Khilji has joined the party today. He said that with his joining, party would flourish. He announced that the process of joining would remain continued in future as well as many other friends are in our contact.
Referring the Lahore High Court’s verdict on PTI’s petition against notification of the DROs and ROS for elections, Sardar Saleh Bhotani said that it is a conspiracy to postpone the elections.
