Empowerment of women crucial for national progress, maintains Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi

QUETTA: The Advisor to the Chief Minister for Women Development Department, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, has emphasized the importance of empowering women, saying that it is essential for national progress and development.
She expressed these views while addressing the closing ceremony of a training program organized by the Women Technical Training Centre (WTTC) in collaboration with Mercy Corps for Afghan refugee girls.
Dr. Buledi said that women’s empowerment is crucial for the country’s social and economic development, and that it is our national responsibility to provide them with their due place and protection in society. She added that without the active role of women, the dream of a Bright and prosperous Pakistan cannot be fulfilled.
Women’s empowerment is necessary for the social and economic development of any country, and their role is vital in ensuring the stability and prosperity of a nation.
Dr. Buledi commended WTTC for not only empowering young women through skills training but also raising awareness about important economic and social issues. She expressed hope that the government, non-governmental organizations, and social personalities will work together to achieve this goal. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Buledi distributed certificates among the trainees who completed the training program.
Other dignitaries present at the ceremony were included Principal WTTC Kanwal Saeed, Chairperson Commission on the Status of Women Balochistan Fauzia Shaheen, and officials from various government and non-government organizations.
