Eight people died, eight others injured in recent rain-related mishaps in Balochistan

QUETTA: In all eight people lost their lives while eight others got injured in different mishaps during recent rains in different districts of Balochistan province.
According to the report of losses released by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Tuesday, the deaths have been reported from five districts during April 12-14.
As per the PDMA’s report, deaths and injuries to the people are reported from Pishin, Kech, Chaman, Sorab, Loralai and Dera Bugti.
The report suggested that nine houses were completely damaged while 33 were partially damaged.
One dam and two roads were also affected due to the heavy rains in different parts of the province.
