Eid-al-Adha: Cleanliness Drive in Islamabad

On the second day of Eid-al-Adha, Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, commended the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad Police, and Safe City teams for their efforts in keeping the city clean.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the teams worked tirelessly to ensure zero waste in the capital, with CDA’s sanitation teams collecting and disposing of 1750 tons of waste on the first day. He appreciated the citizens for their cooperation and praised the teams for their hard work.

Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Rindhawa, said that 150 complaints were received on the first day, which were addressed promptly. He added that 110 points have been established for the convenience of citizens.

The CDA, Islamabad Police, and Safe City teams are working together to monitor the cleanliness drive through CCTV cameras. The teams have been activated in the field since morning.and highlighted
