The Education Minister emphasized the need to execute the Back to School campaign with full vigor under the slogan “Parho or Jagmgao.” He set a target of bringing at least 500,000 children back to school and stressed that the dropout rate after the holidays should be minimized, ideally reduced to zero.

He further instructed that the campaign should be made effective through systematic social communication and that a weekly report on the campaign’s progress be submitted. This report should be sent to the Minister’s Office, the Education Department, and the PMIU.
Rana Sikandar Hayat also expressed his intention to personally monitor the Back to School campaign. He added that this year, efforts should be doubled to ensure that twice as many children return to school compared to last year, and new enrollments should also be encouraged.
