Peshswar : Medical Teaching Institute Hayatabad Medical Complex is one of the major teaching hospital of Khyber Pukhtookhwa in various departments where new generation doctors are working under the supervision of trained and expert doctors.Among these professionals are one of Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology, Dr. Muhammad Tariq Khan Marwat a senior specialist in (Vitro Retinal) is serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr.Tariq Khan Marwat has been performing his duties in Hayatabad Medical Complex for the last 24 years.He recently got Gold medal from President College of Physicians and Surgeon of Pakistan for his excellence performance in the field of Ophthomiolgy.He has also received the Distinguished Service Award from the Pakistan Vitreo-Retina Society (PVRS).He received Prof. Latif Chaudhry Gold Medal in the field of Vitreo-retina in 2015 and Prof. Mukhtar Gold medal in 2019 in recognition of professional services in Ophthalmology.Dr.Tariq Khan has received many national and international awards as a debate speaker in ophthalmology conferences, meetings and workshops.Dr.Tariq Marwat has been a part of more than 12,000 major vitreoretinal surgeries as a debate surgeon in the hospital.He has the honor of being the first FCPS surgeon in the field of Vitreo-retina in the province who later trained many other fellows in the same specialty.The hospital management and administration congratulated Dr.Tariq Khan on his achievement and Appreciated his services for Hayatabad Medical Complex.,
