Peshawar – Today marks a historic milestone for the Institute of Management Sciences as Dr. Shahzad Khan successfully defended his PhD thesis under the esteemed supervision of Dr. Muhammad Daud Ali. Dr. Khan is the first-ever PhD graduate from the Institute, setting a new precedent for academic excellence and research prowess.
The PhD thesis titled “Psychological Factors Affecting the Transformation of Emerging Entrepreneurs into Brands “was evaluated by distinguished external examiners, Prof. Arif Khattak from Bahria University Islamabad and Prof. Dr. Waseef Jamal from the Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar. Dr. Tariq Iqbal Khan served as the internal examiner, ensuring a thorough and comprehensive review of Dr. Khan’s work.
The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Amara Gul Dean faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (online), Dr. Zia Ur Rahman, Controller of Examinations, along with notable faculty members Dr. Kamran Azam, Dr. Atiq Rafique Khattak, Shiraz Ahmad, Syed Tausef Shah, Atif Atiq, and Mr. Malik Sajjad from the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). Additionally, research students and other esteemed guests attended the defense, adding to the momentous atmosphere.
Dr. Shahzad Khan presented an insightful and impactful presentation of his research, followed by a successful question-and-answer session. The external examiners, impressed by the depth and quality of his work, declared Dr. Shahzad Khan qualified for the award of the PhD degree.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Majid Khan, Director of the Institute of Management Sciences, University of Haripur, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the examiners and all participants. He emphasized the significance of this achievement, marking it as a remarkable day in the history of the Institute of Management Sciences.
