Dr. Qaiser Khan Kakar, son of Aurangzeb from Tungi, Ziarat District, has successfully completed his Ph.D. in Zoology and defended his research at the University of Balochistan.
Dr. Kakar’s research has been published in three international journals and marks a significant breakthrough in the field. Notably, his study reports the first-ever recording of the Gonia Ornata fly, published in the Bio-Diversity Data Journal.
His research also pioneers DNA barcoding for agroforestry insects in Ziarat District, providing valuable insights into future insect pest management and forestry practices.
Dr. Kakar attributes his success to his parents, teachers, and the International Barcode of Life, Canada, for their support and collaboration.
This achievement reflects the growing academic excellence in Balochistan and highlights the importance of scientific research in addressing regional and global challenges.
