Quetta, Baluchistan (Staff Reporter) – Dr. Hamna Zaheer, an exceptional academician from Quetta, Balochistan, has garnered attention in the academic community due to her remarkable accomplishments. She has been awarded the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Professor at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University Balochistan through the Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs (IPFP) program, facilitated by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE)-Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan.
Dr. Zaheer’s impressive academic journey culminated in her PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Balochistan in 2023. She distinguished herself as the sole scholar from Balochistan to pass the NAHE-HEC IPFP aptitude exam, competing against over 500 candidates nationwide. Her outstanding research and academic performance have also earned her two gold medals during her graduation and post-graduation. The Director of NAHE-HEC Pakistan, Noor Amna Malik, awarded Dr. Zaheer a certificate in recognition of her exemplary performance. Her commitment to research and academia serves as an inspiration to women in Baluchistan.
In addition to her achievements, Dr. Zaheer participated in a three-week National Faculty Development Program Training under NAHE-HEC in Peshawar, as part of the inaugural cohort of 2024. Her research-oriented approach and humble demeanor make her a valuable asset to the academic community.
