ASHGABAT. OCT. 11. In a grand ceremony held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s stunning white capital, Dr. Farhat Asif, President of the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies and Chairperson of the Diplomatic Insight Group, was bestowed the esteemed Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan ‘For the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi’. This distinguished award recognizes Dr. Asif’s remarkable efforts in fostering bilateral cultural and friendly ties between nations ¹.
The award was presented by Dünýägözel Gulmanowa, Chairperson of Mejlis/Parliament of Turkmenistan, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Dr. Asif was among 20 individuals from various countries honored for their significant contributions to the study, preservation, and popularization of Magtymguly’s creative heritage, the founder of Turkmen Poetry ¹.
