Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch Reveals Outcome of Talks with Baloch Leaders

Quetta, August 6: Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, a prominent Baloch leader, has disclosed the outcome of talks with Baloch leaders in Geneva and London, stating that the results were similar to those in Gwadar.

Dr. Baloch criticized the state for not giving the people of Balochistan the right to vote, saying that only genuine representatives of the province can resolve issues. He accused certain individuals of switching allegiances for personal gain, calling it Pakistan’s misfortune.

Dr. Baloch revealed that he was authorized by all parties, including Nawaz Sharif and the military leadership, to negotiate with Baloch armed organizations. He claimed to have made progress in talks with Baloch leaders in Geneva and London, with some agreeing to negotiate. However, he expressed disappointment with the subsequent handling of the talks, likening them to a “deal” that was unacceptable.

Dr. Baloch’s statements come amid ongoing efforts to address the political and economic grievances of the Baloch people. His revelations highlight the complexities and challenges in finding a peaceful resolution to the issues facing the province.
