A meeting of the District Health Committee was held in Sibi under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Jahanzeb Sheikh, on July 19. The meeting was attended by various officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Sibi Ali Asghar Magasi, Assistant Commissioner Lehri Liyaqat Jatoi, and Emergency Specialist UNICEF Sheraz Baloch.

During the meeting, reports on the issues faced by DHQ Hospital, BHUs, RHCs, and CD were presented, and detailed discussions were held. The committee took note of all the issues and issued directions regarding the shortage of medicines and provision of basic health facilities to the public.

Deputy Commissioner Sibi Jahanzeb Sheikh addressed the meeting, saying that strict action will be taken against absent staff members. He issued orders for deductions in salaries of consistently absent employees and warned some officials. He emphasized that the health department in Sibi will be brought on track to provide better services to the public.
