Director General Shafqat Anwar Shahwani, the long-awaited new sewage line project in Mullah Kareem Bakhsh Ward has been initiated
Gwadar, September 3, On the instructions of Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Director General Shafqat Anwar Shahwani, the long-awaited new sewage line project in Mullah Kareem Bakhsh Ward has been initiated. The project was formally launched by Chief Engineer Haji Syed Muhammad and Director Environment Fazal Shahsawar yesterday.
Under this project, the new sewage line will be connected to GDA’s central sewage line, which leads to the Sewage Treatment Plant. This project will not only benefit Mullah Kareem Bakhsh Ward but also nearby areas such as Captain Murad Bakhsh Ward, Sohrabi Ward, and Sheikh Omar Ward.
This is a project that has been demanded by the residents of the area for a long time, and now it has been initiated. GDA has previously laid approximately 23 kilometers of sewage lines in various areas of the city, which is playing a crucial role in improving the health and sanitation situation in the city.
Furthermore, GDA is also taking vigorous measures under the Old Town Rehabilitation Project, including road construction, improvement of sewage and drain lines, and renovation of historical buildings.
