**Islamabad, June 2, 2024** — Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Ali Rizvi, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, reaffirmed the police department’s commitment to resolving public issues on a priority basis.
In a Khuli Kachehri held at his office, DIG Syed Ali Raza listened attentively to the complaints and issues raised by both citizens and police officials. Senior police officers were also present at the session to ensure a comprehensive response to the public’s concerns.
During the Khuli Kachehri, DIG Syed Ali Raza marked applications from citizens to the relevant officers, directing them to take timely action on merit. He emphasized the importance of accountability and instructed that reports be sent to his office within the specified time frame.
**Zero Tolerance for Corruption**
Reiterating the department’s stance on integrity, DIG Syed Ali Raza warned that strict action would be taken against officials involved in bribery or corruption. He stressed the adoption of a zero-tolerance policy in this regard, underscoring the Islamabad Police’s commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.

DIG Syed Ali Raza assured that the Islamabad Police would leave no stone unturned in securing the lives and property of citizens. He highlighted that ongoing interactions during Khuli Kachehris would promote friendly policing and ensure self-accountability. These sessions aim to provide immediate resolution to citizens’ problems, thereby enhancing public trust in the police force.
“The protection of life, property, and self-respect of citizens comes first,” DIG Syed Ali Raza maintained, adding that such engagements would continue in the future to provide maximum relief to the citizens.
