Deputy Commissioner Usta Muhammad Jaleel Ahmed visited the Kirthar Canal site today to review the ongoing work on the canal’s cleaning and renovation. Accompanied by officials, including SDO Irrigation Gul Hasan Khan Khosa, he was briefed on the project’s progress. The cleaning and renovation work will span from RD-102 to RD-125, covering a distance of approximately 7 kilometers. This project is expected to improve water supply and reduce water scarcity in the area. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of completing the project within the given timeframe and urged the irrigation officials to work diligently to achieve this goal. He also highlighted the significance of the Kirthar Canal in bringing prosperity to the lives of local farmers.
