Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Jahanzeb Sheikh, visited the Hussainia Imam Bargah in Tarihari to review security arrangements for the upcoming month of Muharram. Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Ali Asghar Magasi, Assistant Commissioner Lehri Liyakat Jatoi, and representatives of the district administration, police, and municipal committee, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the procession routes and majalis venues.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that comprehensive security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of participants in all processions and majalis across the district. He appealed to local religious leaders, peace committee members, and civil society representatives to cooperate with the administration and police to maintain peace and security during Muharram.
The security arrangements include the cleaning of procession routes, installation of walk-through gates at entry points, and complete sealing off of procession routes. Strict security measures will be in place throughout the district to prevent any untoward incidents.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that the district administration is fully prepared to ensure the safety and security of citizens during Muharram.
