Sakrand Aug. 05(Report by Raj Kumar Odh): Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Shahriyar Gul Memon, along with Assistant Commissioner Sakrand, Ramiz Raja, made a surprise visit to Taluka Hospital Sakrand. During the visit, they inspected various departments of the hospital, including the blood bank, laboratory, pharmacy, and X-ray room.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Imtiaz Ali Chandio, briefed them on the various departments, discussing the necessities and issues in detail. The Deputy Commissioner expressed severe displeasure on behalf of the government and assured that efforts would be made to fulfill the necessities. However, due to mismanagement, there should be no shortage of medicines for the public.
The visit and briefing revealed that the hospital is completely inadequate. Some medicines are available in the emergency department, but there is no shortage. Instructions have been issued to fulfill the basic necessities.
