DEPUTY COMMISSIONER SBI EMPHASIZES IMPORTANCE OF QUALITY EDUCATION

Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Jahanzeb Sheikh, stressed the significance of providing quality educational facilities to children and youth, particularly in rural areas. He emphasized that education is the only path to a nation’s progress and development.

Speaking at a District Education Group meeting, Sheikh noted that every possible measure is being taken to improve the educational system throughout the district. However, he urged teachers to perform their duties honestly and ensure their presence at their designated places.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Ali Asghar Magsi, District Education Officer Abdul Sattar Langoo, Emergency Specialist UNICEF Sheraz Ahmed Baloch, and other education officials.

Sheikh highlighted the importance of teacher accountability, citing the case of a female teacher’s persistent absence and the department’s subsequent action.

The Deputy Commissioner’s remarks underscore the district administration’s commitment to promoting education and addressing the challenges faced by rural schools ¹.
