Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali has said that all the traveling children coming from Punjab must be vaccinated against polio virus, those who refuse will not be allowed to enter the district, there is no risk. can take He expressed these views while presiding over the meeting held to review the arrangements made in connection with the anti-polio campaign. All assistant commissioners and DH and medical officers and related officers participated in the meeting. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that 32 cases of polio in Pakistan and 11 cases in Sindh is like an alarm bell for all of us, so we have united and played a role by using all the resources to make the polio campaign effective. So that no child of the district is deprived of drops, cooperation should be obtained from all stakeholders in this regard. He said that there should be special vigilance at Kamoon Shaheed and Mureed shakh borders to administer the drops to the passenger children coming from Punjab so that no passenger child can enter the district without getting the drops because we cannot take any risk. He further said that all assistant commissioners and health department as taluka focal persons are responsible for their areas, in case of negligence they will be called to account. Earlier, N-Stop Officer Dr. Zaheer Domki while giving a briefing said that 4 lakh 77 thousand 972 children of the district will be vaccinated during the polio campaign that will continue from September 28 to November 2. All arrangements have been completed in this regard. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also distributed appreciation certificates to the workers for their excellent performance during the polio campaign. The meeting was attended by Dr. Niaz of WHOR, Dr. Rahim Gadani of UNICEF and DFC Altaf Gujjar.
