Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Mohammad Ali has said that we all have to play our full role in the fight against polio virus.
Arrangements should be completed, legal action should be taken against negligent workers.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held in connection with the polio campaign. DHO Dr. Altaf Soomro along with related medical officers participated in the meeting. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that District Ghotki Polio Campaign is doing well, but more improvement and dedication is needed so that no child is deprived of polio drops, all concerned officers and polio workers throughout the district to make the campaign successful In this regard, action will be taken against those who are negligent while also encouraging those who show better performance so that they will do better in the future. It was said that during the campaign that will continue from March 25 to March 31, 4 lakh 77 thousand children of the district will be given polio vaccines and all the arrangements have been completed in this regard. Dr. Niaz of WHO and Dr. Rahim Gadani of UNICEF also participated in the meeting
