Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District Council Ghotki reviewed the situation at Qadirpur Shank Band. Director Saida gave a briefing, issued instructions to take precautionary measures regarding possible floods, ordered to monitor the dams.

According to details, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali and Chairman District Council Ghotki Bangul Khan Mahar reached Shank Band and reviewed the situation. On this occasion, he directed the officials of the irrigation department and said that the water level of the river increases due to monsoon rains, so all the safety measures should be completed in view of possible floods. While suspending them, they should be required to monitor the security guards so that any untoward incident can be dealt with immediately. Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali and Bangul Khan Mahar instructed the Director Saida to activate all the heavy machinery and provide a detailed report. On this occasion, Director Muhammad Ali Zardari, while giving a briefing, said that the situation of the river is being monitored, all the safety dams are strong, but they are fully monitoring.
