Chitral, Swat, and Malakand, September 6, The Defence Day of Pakistan is being celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor in Chitral, Swat, and Malakand under the auspices of Frontier Corps North.
On the occasion of Defence Day, local authorities of Frontier Corps North paid tribute to the martyrs by laying floral wreaths on their graves and offering fateha. Authorities are also meeting with the families of martyrs to pay homage to their loved ones.
Meanwhile, various ceremonies are being held in schools, where students are paying tribute to the heroes and martyrs of the nation.
DEFENCE DAY CELEBRATED WITH NATIONAL FERVOR IN NORTH WAZIRISTAN*
North Waziristan, September 6, 2024 – The Defence Day of Pakistan is being celebrated with national zeal and zest in North Waziristan.
General Officer Commanding Major General Adil Iftikhar laid a floral wreath on the Martyrs’ Memorial and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs. He also offered fateha for the elevated ranks of the martyrs.
Various ceremonies are being held in North Waziristan on the occasion of Defence Day.
