Gwadar:July 31 Deputy Commissioner Hamoodur Rehman has taken swift notice of a video circulating on social media regarding Mehrang Baloch and announced that she is completely safe and engaged in negotiations with the administration.
He clarified that Mehrang Baloch has not been harmed in any way, and the rumors spreading are baseless and false. The Deputy Commissioner termed the news circulating on social media, WhatsApp groups, and other platforms as propaganda aimed at creating chaos in the city.
He assured that the current situation is improving, and no harm has come to Mehrang Baloch or any other woman, nor can it. Deputy Commissioner Hamoodur Rehman further stated that the administration respects the Baloch women in Gwadar like their mothers and sisters.
He assured the public that the administration is taking all possible measures to protect the dignity and safety of women, leaving no room for any kind of harassment. He appealed to the public to refrain from spreading rumors.
