A bloody clash between two rival groups of the Luhar community in Shikarpur’s Lakhi-Gate police station jurisdiction has left three people dead, including two real brothers.
According to initial reports, the deadly clash occurred at Begari Waah (Begari Irrigation Canal) on Friday, resulting in the exchange of fire with automatic weapons. Two brothers, Police Constable Veeram Khan (46) aka Nadir and Abdul Qadir Luhar, were killed on the spot. Their relative, Taj Muhammad Luhar (44), was seriously injured and referred to Sukkur hospital after receiving initial medical aid from RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur due to his critical condition.
The violence in Shikarpur continues unabated, leaving a trail of bloodshed and claiming precious lives.
