DC’s permission declared mandatory for organizing conference & seminar at Press Club

QUETTA: The permission of Deputy Commissioner has been declared mandatory for organizing any conference and seminar at the Quetta Press Club.
In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner Quetta has issued a letter to the President Quetta Press Club on Wednesday.
According to the notification, no political party or organization can conduct seminar or conference not anyone can hold protest without the prior permission of the district administration.
Meanwhile, the Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) has rejected the decision of government in this regard.
The BUJ said that interference of the district administration in the Press Club is condemnable.
