SWAT:- Deputy Commissioner Swat Dr. Qasim Ali Khan on Tuesday visited the Saidu Group of Teaching hospitals.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Qasim Ali Khan made a detailed visit to various wards and departments of the hospital to review the performance of the Hospital.
During his visit the Hospital Management Committee meeting was also held in the conference room of the Medical Superintendent’s office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Swat Dr. Qasim Ali Khan. During the meeting the past performance of Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital was reviewed in detail and a plan of action was prepared for the next month. The Chief Executive Dr Israr ul Haq and Medical Superintendent Dr sharafat ali gave a detailed briefing regarding the overall performance of Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital, Swat district, resources, machinery and other issues in the hospital and other important issues were also discussed.
Deputy Commissioner Swat Dr. Qasim Ali Khan while appreciating the services and performance of the members of the Hospital Management Committee said that they should ensure the best health facilities to the people even with limited resources. He said that provision of quality medical facilities in the hospital and improvement of all the hospitals of Swat district are among the top priorities of the district administration because only a healthy society can lead the country on the path of development.
Deputy Commissioner urged the hospital administration to ensure the provision of all medical facilities to the patients in wards and said that there should be no interruption in medical facilities for surgical emergency patients
