Daring Daylight Robbery in Jacobabad: Thieves Make Off with Rs. 20 Million

Jacobabad. Nov. 18. Four armed men stormed a PCO shop in Jacobabad’s Cinema Road area, within the limits of Airport Police Station, and made off with approximately Rs. 20 million in cash from three individuals. The owner of the PCO, Farooq Somro, was robbed of Rs. 11 million, while agency agent Rashid Sheikh lost Rs. 5 million and Allah Wadhayo Somro was relieved of Rs. 2.5 million.¹
The brazen daylight robbery has sent shockwaves through the community, with the affected individuals staging a protest. According to PTI leader Mola Bakhsh Somro, the Somro community has been consistently targeted.

The incident has raised concerns about the law and order situation in Jacobabad, a city known for its rich history and extreme heat. The police are under pressure to apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen amount.
