DADU: JOHI SHOPKEEPER LOOTED BY GANG TRACED THROUGH CCTV FOOTAGE

Johi Police arrested the main accused and recovered the looted money and other stolen goods

On the instructions of SSP Dadu Dr. Samiullah Soomro, Dadu Police is working tirelessly to curb crimes and eliminate the elements involved in them.

In a significant breakthrough, Johi Police has identified the culprits involved in the dacoity at Asif Ali Ghori’s grocery store on Pandhi Road, within the limits of Johi Police Station, which occurred five days ago. Using CCTV footage from the scene, police identified the suspects and conducted raids to arrest them.

SHO Johi Police Ghulam Hyder Chandio led the operation, resulting in the arrest of the accused, Abdul Ghaffar alias Koro son of Kalo Pehnor. The police recovered Rs. 5000 in cash and other stolen goods worth thousands of rupees from the accused’s possession.

A case has been registered against the accused under sections 392, 506/2 PPC, bearing FIR No. 92/2024, on the complaint of the shopkeeper. Further investigation is underway.
