Usta Muhammad, November 29, : A group of armed dacoits stormed into a house in Railway Colony, Usta Muhammad, and made off with Rs 3.2 million in cash, jewelry, and other valuables.
According to reports, the dacoits, numbering between 9 to 12, entered the house of Parvez Punjabi, a resident of Railway Colony, and held the family members hostage. They looted the house, taking cash, jewelry, and even gold bangles from the women.
The local police were informed, and they immediately reached the scene to investigate. Further action is being taken by the police.
This incident has raised concerns among the local population, particularly after the transfer of SP Usta Muhammad, Muhammad Anwar Badini. There has been a surge in criminal activity in the area, leaving the residents worried.
