D.I Khan: Armed Robbers Loot Passengers on CPEC Western Route
Dera Ismail Khan (media reporters ) – A group of 15-16 armed robbers blocked the CPEC Western Route near Abdul Khel Toll Plaza and looted passengers traveling in cars and trucks. The incident was reported at Yarak Police Station by Syed Khan, a 34-year-old resident of Nawankaly Quetta, who stated that he was driving a passenger bus from Islamabad to Quetta when the robbers stopped him.
According to Syed Khan, 7-8 robbers entered the bus while 8-10 others stood guard outside. The robbers looted cash, mobile phones, and valuables from the passengers, including:
– Aslam: Rs. 8,000, a watch, and a mobile phone
– Ghulam Rasool: Rs. 75,000 and a mobile phone
– Rab Nawaz: Rs. 80,000
– Wahid Islam: Rs. 13,000
– Ayub: Rs. 28,000 and two mobile phones
– Ehsanullah: Rs. 37,000 and a mobile phone
– Zainullah: Rs. 30,000
– Ayub: Rs. 25,500
– Sher Muhammad: Rs. 35,000
– Sajjad: Rs. 28,000
– Shamsullah: Rs. 25,500
– Abdul Malik: Rs. 10,000
– Muhammad Khan: Rs. 90,000
The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
