Sanghar(Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Imran ul Hassan Khawaja, announced that 80% of the Hari Card registration process in the district has been completed, with the expectation that 100% will be achieved within the next two days. He made this statement during a media briefing following a meeting on Hari Card registration in Tando Adam.
The Deputy Commissioner explained that the purpose of the meeting was to assess the progress of the registration process. He stated that there is no fixed target for Hari Card registration; under the government scheme, any eligible farmer who falls under the designated category will be registered. The Sindh Government’s Hari Card scheme provides farmers with various agricultural benefits, including seeds, fertilizers, and support in case of natural disasters.
He urged farmers who have not yet registered to visit the Mukhtiarkar office to complete their registration. Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam, Hunen Tariq Shahani, Mukhtiarkar Tando Adam Ghulam Shabbir Sehto, and other officials were present at the meeting.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner also made an unannounced visit to the Taluka Hospital, meeting with patients and reviewing the facilities available to them.
