Customs sets up sasta bazaar for general public in Quetta

QUETTA: The Pakistan Customs set up a sasta bazaar for the general public here near Spinny road on Sunday.
The sasta bazaar set up in collaboration with the Quetta district administration offered different goods including sugar, dry milk, tea, blankets, chocolates, etc. on the subsidized rates.
The goods which were made available for sale at the bazaar were seized during different raids by the Customs in anti-smuggling drive.
The sugar was sold at Rs. 100 per kilogram, cooking oil at Rs. 350 per liter, tea at Rs. 700 per kilogram, blanket from Rs. 2000 to 3,500, chocolate Rs. 350 per packet.
The Customs high ups supervised the sasta bazaar where rush of people including women was witnessed.
Needless to mention here is that the initiative was taken by the Customs to provide relief to the masses by selling different goods on the subsidized rates.
