QUETTA: The Pakistan Customs foiled a major attempt of smuggling of huge quantity of Iranian diesel by three passenger buses in Khuzdar area on Sunday.
According to the spokesman of Customs, the Customs patrolling team intercepted three passenger coaches on way to interior country in Wango area. During the search, the Customs recovered around 39,000 liters of Iranian diesel, which was being smuggled from border areas to the interior parts of the country via Khuzdar.
The spokesman of Customs informed that the worth of smuggled Iranian diesel is around Rs. 60 million. The passenger buses have been impounded and further investigations have been started by the Customs.
