Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Lieutenant (Retd) Saad bin Asad, has launched a crackdown against profiteers in Quetta city. Under his supervision, various teams of the district administration have visited 134 shops in different areas, including Kachlak, Bilieli, Samungli, Joint Road, Chashma Achozai, Pashtunabad, Taru Chok, Awami Gali, Kasi Road, Mechanic Road, Gwalmandi Chok, Nawab Akhtar, Satellite Town, Burma Hotel, Bashir Chok, Prince Road, Toghi Road, Musa Colony, Mir Ahmad Khan Road, and Munir Ahmad Khan Road. During the visits, the teams checked the prices, quality, and weights of goods at the shops. As a result, three shops were sealed, 15 shopkeepers were arrested, and fines were imposed on 17 shopkeepers. Several shopkeepers were also warned
