Crackdown on Fake Medicines and Illegal Clinics in Quetta

Quetta, Oct. 30, : The Balochistan Health Department launched a crackdown on fake medicines and illegal clinics in Quetta’s Ghousabad area, following directives from Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar.
Drug inspectors conducted raids on various medical stores in Ghousabad, seizing substandard medicines. Ten illegal clinics were sealed in the area.

– Substandard medicines confiscated from medical stores
– Medicines sent to drug testing laboratory for analysis
– Cases registered against medical store owners under Drug Act
Sources from the Health Department confirmed that the seized medicines will be tested and further action will be taken accordingly.
This crackdown aims to curb the sale of counterfeit and substandard medicines, ensuring public safety and health.
