Quetta, Nov. 12, 2024: Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has hailed the formation of constitutional benches as a historic step towards ensuring good governance in Balochistan, terming it a significant initiative by Pakistan People’s Party and its allied parties.¹
During a meeting with the People’s Lawyers Forum, Bugti emphasized the crucial role of lawyers in resolving public issues and promoting transparency. He urged lawyers to actively participate in addressing societal problems and guiding people in remote areas.

Bugti reiterated his commitment to establishing good governance in Balochistan, ensuring the province’s overall development and prosperity. He acknowledged lawyers as the educated and conscious segment of society, whose support is vital for effective governance.
A special committee has been formed to promote unity and cooperation among various segments of society, with CM Bugti as its head. The committee includes provincial ministers Mir Sadique Umrani, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Haji Ali Madad Jatak, and party leader Syed Iqbal Shah, along with four representatives from the People’s Lawyers Forum.
The meeting also offered prayers for the victims of the railway station bomb blast and wished for President Asif Ali Zardari’s speedy recovery.
