QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that the concept of power is changing at fast pace in the ever changing world and so the requirements of modern era.
The Governor said that the mental power has gained preference over the physical power in view of the artificial intelligence and robotic technology.
He said that we left behind because of lack of the research centers and absence of comprehensive planning. We could also not produce quantity human resource and thus we as a nation remain behind in the race of development.
The Governor was speaking to the core committee of National Security Workshop who called on him under leadership of Sardar Qurban Jogezai here at the Governor’s House on Wednesday.
The Governor observed that there is no dearth of visionary and intelligent people in our society, what’s needed is to provide all necessary facilities and opportunities to them so that they may play their role for guiding the new generation and putting them on path of development.
He regretfully pointed out that we couldn’t benefit from the services of our thinkers, scientists, experts and researchers in the best interest of country and nation.
The Governor stressed the need to benefit from the knowledge and experience of all concerned in all sectors of life especially in the public sector universities so that we are able to produce quality human resource and formulate apt policies at the national and provincial level.
