COMPLETE SHUTDOWN IN KHANPUR CITY OVER ABDUCTION OF AZAN ARRAEEN, RESIDENTS PROTEST ON INDUS HIGHWAY

Shikarpur: A complete shutdown is being observed in Khanpur city, with residents protesting on the Indus Highway, demanding the recovery of Azan Arraeen, who was abducted from Khanpur, Shikarpur, a month and a half ago. The protesters, including traders and members of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, have blocked the highway, suspending traffic movement.
They are demanding the immediate recovery of Azan Arraeen, citing the police’s failure to rescue him despite the passage of a month and a half. The protesters have vowed to continue their agitation until Azan Arraeen is safely recovered. The blockade has caused severe inconvenience to commuters.
